AGC SPONSOR SANFL WOMEN'S TEAM

Australian Green Clean are driven to support local community groups. Over this Summer AGC have sponsored the Norwood Football Club SANFL Women's Team.

The Women's team have over 50 players in the squad, sponsorship and player sponsorship is important. With the league being extended this year to run over 12 weeks excluding finals, Women's football is increasing in popularity. More than 9,000 women and girls registered to play football at clubs across the state in 2021, representing a 25% increase on 2020 numbers. The club relies on sponsorship to support the team and give the players opportunities within the sport, and AGC are proud to support this female group.

"We are a proud female led Company supporting women across South Australia. With over 80% of our management team being female, we believe it is very important to support other females within their own industry. Seeing female team sports, like football, on the rise is a testament to female's being given opportunities in areas not available to them before. We love supporting this team and seeing them thrive this season has been wonderful" says CEO Charlie Aykroyd.

With another 4 rounds left for the SANFLW season, AGC hope to see Norwood continue their winning streak to secure a finals position.
